Don't Wait For The Future, Create It w/ Neal Hunter
How do serial entrepeneurs see the world?
“Serial entrepreneur” has become as big of a buzzword as innovation over the past decade. More and more people are self identifying as “serial entrepreneurs” – and I heard one recently define that as someone who is still looking for their first success. That sounds to me more like a serial failure. What I’m interested in are people who have taken on great challenges and found success more than once. This is what I consider to be a serial entrepreneur.
On this episode, I sit down with Neal Hunter who embodies my definition and has taught me a lot about the mindset of innovation. From semiconductors to real estate development, and from LED lighting to life sciences, Neal has found the type of success that few people ever achieve once let alone multiple times.
From the lessons he learned growing up to trading stock options between classes during college, and from his journey founding CREE to his current job at KnowBio, we get incredibly unique insights from a man who has made a career upending industries and creating the future.
Neal’s story reflects the deeper meaning of what this podcast is all about. That innovation is a mindset – and if you can master the mindset of innovation, then you can apply it across industries.
